The Washington State University men's hoop team dug themselves a 20-point deficit hole in the first half and were never able to climb all the way out as the conference favorite California Golden Bears held on to defeat the Cougars, 93-88. With the loss, the Cougars drop to 12-5 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
