January 23, 2012Boston College was the first school to offer Moise Larose and that's a big deal to the 2013 offensive tackle from Fort George G. Meade (Md.) Meade who will visit with the Eagles for their upcoming junior day.
It's still early but Boston College has emerged as one of his top schools.
"I'm going to their junior day and they basically told me they want me and they want me to come check out their campus and see if I like it," Larose said.
"They were the first to offer me and that means a lot to me. They said they really want me.
"It's pretty big for me because that's my first visit to a school. It's pretty big to get up there. They went out on a limb for me and that really means a lot to me that they offered me."
Larose, a 6-foot-5, 285-pound prospect, will visit Boston College and he's looking to take unofficial trips to Maryland and Rutgers as well.
The Maryland standout also has an offer from East Carolina and said his coaches have been talking to BYU.
Many other programs are expected to show interest as Larose's recruitment continues but at this point getting up to Boston College is important to the junior prospect.
"I'm looking forward to these trips to explore what my options are, what I like and what I don't like," Larose said.
The Eagles could be in good shape in Larose's recruitment but he recently told Rivals.com that Maryland was his favorite team growing up.
Larose earned first team all-state and first team all-county honors for his performance this season.
