Henry Roberts is familiar with the Washington program as you would expect any top Bellevue prospect to be, and he believes the program is heading in the right direction - and fast.
Roberts may be the next elite prospect from Bellevue and at 6-foot-6 and 255-pounds the 2015 offensive tackle is coveted by several PAC-12 schools already. Washington, Arizona and Arizona State have offered while Oregon, Stanford and UCLA are showing interest.
Fortunately for U-Dub, Roberts is very open to the possibility of staying close to home.
"It's a positive for sure," he said of Washington's proximity.
"I have a pretty good relationship with all of the coaches and I feel like the program's moving up. I was at [the Washington-Boise State game] and thought it was a great atmosphere. There was a lot of energy and it was a cool setting. They played really well."
Roberts said he's not sure who his recruiter from Washington is yet. While the Huskies have his attention Roberts added that he does not have a clear favorite and remains open-minded. He added that he is a frequent visitor to the school and that should continue.
