The dust has settled on Florida State's top ranked 2011 recruiting class so the staff at Warchant.com - Gene Williams, Michael Langston and Andrew Skwara - take one last look back at the group of 29 signees and hand out some accolades to the future Seminoles.
Class MVP - Karlos Williams
Even though Williams was one of the two five-star recruits in FSU's class - running back James Wilder Jr. is the other - all three votes went to the talented safety. Early playing is certainly a factor. All three of FSU's top running backs return in 2011. But, without an experienced back-up at safety, Williams will likely move onto the two-deep depth chart this fall and he and has all the size and skills needed to develop into a star. "As you all know with recruiting sometimes players get a little over hyped. That is not the case with Karlos. He is a special player," said defensive coordinator Mark Stoops. We also had to factor in the fact that Williams was an outstanding recruiter for the Seminoles since he made his commitment way back in February of last year.
Fastest - Rashad Greene

In fact, Greene was timed running a high 4.3 at one event. At the 2010 Miami Nike combine, the four-star receiver ran a 4.42 in the 40-yard dash and posted an impressive 4.25 in the shuttle. All the speed and quickness is evident on his game film as well. Michael Langston, who has seen Greene play first hand, raves about his ability to get consistently get separation from defenders.
