Getting to Know: Cameron Dillard

Upon his arrival at Florida, Gator head coach Will Muschamp made it a goal of his to add more depth to his offensive and defensive line. Early on in the 2013 recruiting cycle the Gators were able to add to that depth when they received a commitment from Canton (Mich.) offensive lineman Cameron Dillard. The three-star signee made his pledge to Florida back in April and never wavered on his decision.

Dillard played tackle in high school but projects as a guard or center at the next level. The 6-foot-3, 285-pounder has a high motor and good run blocking ability but needs to improve his lateral quickness and pass blocking technique.

Today it's time to learn a little bit more about Dillard on a personal level in this edition of Getting to Know.

1. Which artists do you listen to most on your iPod?

Dillard: Shoot I don't even know, I usually just put it on shuffle. But, I actually kind of like that Magic Dragon song to be honest.

2. What is your favorite TV show?

Dillard: I like Family Guy, Cleveland Show, stuff like that.

3. What is your favorite movie?

Dillard: Definitely The Blind Side. It shows all the things he had to overcome in his life just to get where he is now. It shows all the hard work he did and how you should keep following your dreams.

4. If you had your choice of anyone on the planet, whom would you go out with for one dream date?

Dillard: Kate Upton for sure.

5. Do you have any superstitions or rituals in your personal life, before a game, during a game, etc.?

Dillard: Before a game I just always put my uniform on a certain way and after a game my teammates and I all go to a buddies house, win or lose.

6. What is your worst habit?

Dillard: I speed on the highway a lot, that's pretty bad.

7. Who would you most want to trade places with for one day?

Dillard: I'd say Jeff Gordon. I think it would be pretty cool to be a NASCAR driver. I would want to just do it for one day though, not multiple times.

8. If you were to eventually become a first round NFL draft choice, what is the first thing you would buy?

Dillard: Probably my dream truck, which is a Ford Raptor, jacked up with big tires on it. I'd paint it all, make it nice and black. That would be pretty sweet.

9. Name one thing you can't live without?

Dillard: My food for sure, my pizza. I love pizza.

10. What would you be doing if you did not play football?

Dillard: I would be a cop. I've always been interested in that, so maybe even after football I'll be a cop.

11. Who is your favorite athlete?

Dillard: I would say Ray Lewis is definitely my favorite just because of the passion he plays with on the field. He's a great leader and a great guy all around.

12. What' on your bucket list? Name three things you want to do before dying.

Dillard: I definitely wanna go sky-diving. I've always wanted to that. Just travel the world and check places out I've never seen before. And maybe go to Bora Bora, that would be pretty sick.

13. What's one thing Gator fans would be surprised to know about you?

Dillard: I like shoes a lot. I guess I have kind of a shoe fetish. I just like getting new shoes all the time. Jordans, I got a pair of the new Air Max, shoes like that.
