Washington will host 2017 three-star Mountain View (Calif.) St. Francis running back Cyrus Habibi-Likio on Wednesday, despite the prospect not holding an offer. However, his relationship with Ikaika Malloe has convinced him and his parents to make the trip north to Seattle to check out the Huskies.

"I wanted to visit because it has been a school I've been interested since I was young," Habibi-Likio told Rivals.com on Tuesday. "I have some family friends who are aluminizes. The education is top notice. I decided to come with my family because I am a big family person.

"Coach Malloe made me realize how family oriented UDub is. I thought it was a great idea to check out the city and campus, and see where it stands with other schools. I'm very interested in Washington."

Current 2017 three-star Sumner (Wash.) running back Connor Wedington took an unofficial visit to Cal between Monday and Tuesday, leaving UDub with a technical open spot for this recruiting class. With that said, Malloe has built a strong relationship with Cyrus, who views it beyond just the football field.

"I believe it's really strong," he said. "We can talk about things outside of football. I feel both of our Christian faiths play a big role in that. We talked about almost anything. He's a great guy and trustworthy, too."

The three-star tailback said Washington is his top school, heading into his visit to Washington on Wednesday. Despite not holding an offer, the running back is still enthralled with the Huskies and their coaching staff.

"It would be massive," Cyrus said on if UW offered, with a laugh. "Like I said they are very big on family and I love that. Their education is a key factor and I feel they have a great alumni support. They are one of the power-houses in the Pac-12. The facilities are amazing and I've heard better than most schools. I really like [running back] coach Coach [Keith] Bhonapha.

On Thursday, the three-star running back will visit Washington State. However, despite it being his first Pac-12 offer, he's still planning on taking his time and taking his official visit.
