2017 NFL Draft: Bengals Selection Washington WR John Ross 9th Overall

Known for his electric speed on the field its fitting that Washington wide receiver John Ross went quickly in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, selected ninth overall by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ross ties former Huskies wide receiver Reggie Williams as the highest-drafted receiver in the programs history, becoming the 11th top-10 draft pick to come from UW.

Under first-year receivers coach Bush Hamdan the Bengals selection became the focal point of the Huskies dominating offense in 2017. Ross finished the season with 17 receiving touchdowns and 1,150 receiving yards while hauling in 81 receptions.
