SEATTLE -- The Huskies' 48-13 blowout win against Rutgers at home has given them their first Top 10 ranking since November 2001, the year Washington lost to Miami and Texas, both Top 10 teams at the time, to finish No.19 in the final AP Poll.

Washington now ranks No.8 in the country, moving up six spots from No.14 entering week one. The Huskies are also now up from No.18 in the coaches poll to No.11, finishing just outside the Top 10 in the Amway Coaches Poll.

Washington hosts Idaho this Saturday, another step down in the non-conference schedule for Head Coach Chris Petersen's Huskies. The Vandals, who defeated Montana State and former UW defensive line coach Jeff Choate, now the Bobcats' head coach, 20-17 in Moscow, are up for a much bigger challenge in Washington.

The two programs met last on September 12, 2009, a 42-23 victory for the Huskies in Seattle. This year the Huskies will play host once again to the Vandals, with a higher margin point difference expected.
