The Huskies were off and running on next years’ recruiting class six months before the star-studded 2019 haul could be officially unveiled in December.
Gaard Memmelaar, a 6-foot-5 and 290-pound offensive tackle from Middleton, Idaho, became the first commitment for the 2020 class on June 18 during an unofficial visit to Washington. He has remained the lone pledge while several more of his fellow classmates have earned an offer from UW.
To date the Huskies staff have given 35 scholarship offers out to 2020 prospects. Of those, eight are ranked as a five-star prospect by Rivals with 19 more four-star recruits holding a formal invitation to become a Dawg.
