Half of the top 14 tight end prospects in the 2021 recruiting class have already made their verbal commitment as things stand in the second week in June.

Four-star Heritage High School (Littleton, Colorado) tight end Erik Olsen is one of the seven recruits that remains uncommitted. Olsen, listed at 6-foot-5 and 235-pounds, received an offer in late February from the University of Washington and since then he’s continued to have a keen eye on the program.

Over the past three months Olsen has taken a pair of virtual tours to the school. The first was centered around academics while his most recent ‘visit’ was geared more towards the campus and seeing Husky Stadium.

On Monday, Olsen released his top six schools. UW was one of four Pac-12 schools – Colorado, Stanford and UCLA – along with Nebraska and Notre Dame.
