Iolani HS in Hawaii updated Realdawg.com this week on his summer football
workouts. Wong has finally given us the numbers for his 40 and vertical leap,
bench and squat...
"I ran a 4.59 40, and have a 29 inch vertical
leap", Blake told us, "I'm benching 315 and squatting 405."
"I've been working out all day everyday it
seems", he laughed. Blake is set for a huge senior season at Iolani, but in the
meantime, he's been getting handwritten letters from Washington WR coach Bobby
Kennedy every week, "Coach Kennedy is really cool, I like him", he said.
In addition, Blake says he's receiving daily mail
from Oregon, and still stacks of letters from Colorado, "Right now my top teams
are Washington, Oregon and Colorado" he said.
It was during May that Wong received the phone
call in which Rick Neuheisel extended an offer to Washington; right now that's
his only offer. But with the amount of attention the Ducks and Buffs are
showing, it won't be his last. Will he make an early decision?
