Local Lineman Gets Props in the Desert

Brett Thielke, the 6-5, 285 lb offensive lineman
out of Skyline high school in Sammamish sent Realdawg.com a brief update on his

latest activities. Brett just returned from U of A, where he was recognized for
his exceptional work on the line...
"One of my old coaches, Scott Pelluer coaches
down there now", Brett said of the brother of former Husky Steve Pelluer, "He
called up last week and asked me to come to the weekend camp."
Brett made the state of Washington proud after
being recognized at the conclusion of camp with two Outstanding Offensive
Lineman awards; recognition that can only help further his cause in looking for
that first big offer to come his way.
"A couple of colleges have told me that they are
close to offering me", Brett said.
Right now Brett's camp schedule has taken a
different turn, "I won't be attending the Oregon Nike camp because we have a
spring camp at school that day", he announced, "I'm going to the UW Lineman
Olympics the next day."
But Brett also stated that he will be attending a
couple of days of Oregon's summer camp, "If my school will clear me to take some
finals early", he added, "I hope to do a couple of days at the UW camp too."
Brett thanked Realdawg.com for his placement in
the Top 15 and told us, "That story is awesome."
At this time, Brett is definitely in line for a
couple of summer offers, should his camp performances continue to be as
effective as his performance at the Arizona camp. Brett should be seeing more
attention from those who have already been showing the most attention, including
Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Arizona
State, Portland State, Oregon State, Stanford, Cal, Notre Dame, Arizona,
Northwestern and Montana.
Stay tuned...
