Mapu Talks about Commitment to Oregon
Mike Mapu committed to Oregon yesterday,
today--he has the option of signing his letter of intent to play for the Ducks

and attend the University of Oregon...are the answers really that simple for
this juco prospect?
"I just felt I fit in well at Oregon", Mapu told
Realdawg.com last evening, "I really enjoyed my trip there. I met a lot of
players, and the facilities there are good."
One person who really left a marked impression on
Mapu was Phil Knight, "I met him when I was at the school", he said, "He is a
good man, he told me Oregon is a good school and a good program to play for."
Mapu also spoke highly of the coaches and
players, "My parents want me to go to Washington though", he said.
