SEATTLE -- Despite a vague Tweet from his personal Twitter account Washington defensive lineman Vita Vea has not informed the coaching staff of any decision, multiple sources told Rivals.

Vea is eligible for the 2017 NFL Draft as a redshirt sophomore and has been contemplating whether or not to declare or return for another season at Washington. Sunday evening Vea tweeted "#woof" just two days after positing a picture on his Twitter with the caption "decisions".

The Huskies already lost junior defensive lineman Elijah Qualls to the draft, along with wide receiver John Ross, cornerback Sidney Jones and safety Budda Baker. UW signed Vea shortly before the start of fall camp in August 2015 and since has played a key role in the Huskies defensive line.

Starting all 14 games for Washington this season Vea finished with five sacks, tied for second on the team with senior BUCK Joe Mathis, along with 6.5 tackles for loss one forced fumble and 39 total tackles.

Sources indicated that Vea is expected to return for his third season at Washington, but no decision has been made as of Sunday night.
