About the Huskies:
This is the final road trip of the season for the Huskies, and road trips couldn't end any sooner for this team. The Huskies have struggled mightily away from Hec Edmundson Pavilion this season, and all four conference losses have come on the road. UW has been playing well of late though, as the Huskies swept Cal and Stanford at home last week. Isaiah Thomas earned Pac-10 Player of the Week honors for the third time this season, averaging 22.5 points per game and five assists per game last week. This is the last chance for the Huskies to prove that they have put their road woes behind them. They are going to need a big week from Thomas, as well as seniors Justin Holiday and Matthew Bryan-Amaning as they make their push for the Pac-10 crown and a trip to the NCAA tournament.
About the Sun Devils: Arizona State has fallen on some hard times this season. This usually prominent team in the Pac-10 finds itself as the cellar-dwellers of the conference. The Sun Devils are a woeful 1-11 in Pac-10 play, with 10 consecutive conference losses. Guards Trent Lockett and Ty Abbott continue to lead the team in scoring, averaging 13.9 and 12.9 points per game. This may be the last chance for senior Jamelle McMillan, who hails from Seattle, to play against the Huskies. McMillan is averaging 7.2 points per game and 4 assists per game.
