The Latest on 2017 3-Star UW DT Commit Marlon Tuipulotu

2017 three-star Independence (Ore.) Central defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu, a verbal commitment to Washington, confirmed to Rivals.com he took an unofficial visit to Cal on Friday.

The nations No.24 defensive tackle will be participating in The Opening regional event in Oakland, California on Saturday and said while he is taking visits, his decision remains firm.

"Me and my family talked about still taking visits," Tuipulotu told Rivals.com. "Even though I visited this school I am still committed to Washington and that's not going to change anytime soon."

As Rivals.com first reported back on April 16, Tuipulotu committed to the Huskies over offers from Michigan, UCLA and Oregon among others. Since then he's stood by his decision and it's one that Washington will have to continue to fight for all the way to Signing Day.
