LOS ANGELES -- Kalen DeBoer and his Washington Huskies moved one step closer to an unbeaten season, defeating No. 20/24 USC, 52-42, to move to 9-0.
The No. 5 Huskies played their best offensive game in weeks, nearly doubling their season-high in rushing yards with 316 yards on the ground and 572 overall.
Running back Dillon Johnson, who had never rushed for more than 100 yards in a game, rumbled for 256 yards and 4 touchdowns on an average of 9.8 yards per carry, and quarterback Michael Penix Jr. dazzled again while completing 22 of 30 passes for 256 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT and a rushing touchdown.
