Washington hosted two official visitors this weekend and Sunday secured the commitment of one. 2017 three-star Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's offensive tackle Cole Norgaard made the decision and informed TheDawgReport.com shortly after.

"I just committed," Norgaard said around Noon. "The coaches, the people, the school. Everything. It's just a perfect fit."

The Huskies extended an offer to Norgaard during the dead period, in which the three-star prospect clarified he had not been committed to Nevada for some time.

Several schools began to offer Norgaard following the Huskies offer, including Pac-12 Conference rival Cal. However, once he played a couple games of ping-pong inside the UW recruiting lounge it was an easy choice that he knew he was home.

"Just how relaxed I could be around the coaches," Norgaard said on what made it feel like home. "We were in the recruiting lounge and coach Strausser and I played three games of ping pong. Coach Pete watched for a little bit, but then he went and shot baskets on the pop-a-shot. I was just thinking 'wow' this is a pretty cool place."

While Norgaard didn't get a chance to play a game of ping-pong against the Huskies head coach, he found out the legends of his talents.

"I didn't get to play him but I heard he is the ping-pong guru," Norgaard added.

Washington now has two offensive line commits for the class of 2017, along with four-star Sammamish (Wash.) Skyline offensive guard Henry Bainivalu. UW is unlikely to take a third offensive line commit and instead use the final spot on a defensive player.
