Washington elevated its early commitment total to three Sunday for its 2019 class, landing three-star Upland (Calif.) running back Cameron Davis, who picked UW over offers from three other Pac-12 schools.

Davis, a 6-foot, 180-pound back who confirmed his decision to Rivals Sunday afternoon, has been high on the Huskies since they offered last July after performing well during the second Rising Stars Camp. As a junior the three-star recruit rushed for 1,066 yards and 20 touchdowns on just 114 carries for Upland in 2017.

From the beginning UW running backs coach Keith Bhonapha made a strong impression on Davis, with head coach Chris Petersen playing a factor over the past few months. The Huskies were the first FBS offer for Davis - his first official offer coming from Howard University.

All three of the Huskies 2019 commitments are on offense; four-star Graham (Wash.) Graham-Kapowsin quarterback Dylan Morris, a Rivals100 prospect, and three-star Seattle (Wash.) Rainier Beach offensive tackle Nathaniel Kalepo.
