The Huskies have landed another high quality defensive back in the 2021 recruiting class.
UW secured three-star Bishop Amat cornerback Dyson McCutcheon on Saturday. The 5-foot-10 and 160-pound defender received his offer less than one month ago on May 20. Since then McCutcheon has taken a virtual tour of the campus and gained more knowledge about the school beyond the football program.
“To get that offer, especially being a DB – they’re known for their DB’s. It kind of boosted my confidence just a little bit,” McCutcheon said at the time of his UW offer. “Telling me that I can play on that level is real exciting.”
With the addition of McCutcheon to this years’ class UW moved up five spots in the Rivals team recruiting rankings from No. 50 to No. 45. The Huskies now hold eight verbal commitments in the 2021 cycle.
We will have more on McCutcheon as the afternoon goes along.
