Fresh off signing one elite wide receiver from the state of Nevada this past winter Washington has gone back into the Silver State to land another coveted target.

Germie Bernard, a 6-foot-1 and 185-pound receiver out of Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada announced his pledge to the Huskies Thursday evening. The coveted receiver chose UW over offers from Michigan, Oregon and Penn State among other schools.

The Huskies are now off and running in the 2022 class with the addition of Bernard. It marks another major recruiting win for wide receiver coach Junior Adams, who has offered only a handful of players in next years’ cycle.
