Washington has landed its first offensive line commit for the class of 2018, with three-star Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe offensive tackle Matteo Mele announced his decision Monday afternoon.
Mele committed to UW over his two other finalists: Colorado and Oklahoma. The Buffaloes offered earlier this spring and were able to host Mele for a visit. Once the Huskies entered the picture his interest quickly grew, culminating in his visit last Friday and decision on Monday.
Here is our story from this past weekend on Mele following his visit to UW.
