It's rare for the Huskies to land a commitment from a prospect outside of California, Texas or the Pacific Northwest, let alone the state of Tennessee.

Yet, for its class of 2018, Washington has pulled three-star linebacker Jackson Sirmon out of Brentwood Academy (Nashville, Tennessee), providing a unique perspective on the Stanley Cup finals.

Without a professional hockey team in Seattle the city isn't as invested in this years matchup between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators. But Sirmon has had a front row seat to see catfish thrown on the ice at Bridgestone Arena, along with some exciting hockey too.

"It's nuts here," Sirmon told Rivals.com earlier this week. "Probably just the amount of people downtown at the games. The entire downtown is filled with people. Thousands and thousands of people."

Heading into game six down 3-2 to the Penguins, the odds favor Nashville with the home team winning each time during the finals so far. The two teams have combined for 30 goals - Pittsburgh won 6-0 in game five - with early scoring a constant theme.

Another constant theme has been the presence of catfish being thrown from Predators fans during home games. Despite countless warnings from the team and the public address announcer, fans still continue to make their presence known.

"At the games they say if you throw catfish on the ice you get arrested and fined," Sirmon said after to game four. "And you also get kicked out of the arena. I think there were still seven thrown last night."

Should Nashville force a game seven with a victory Saturday night, Sirmon said if the Predators win the Stanley Cup "Nashville might explode."
