Washington will take two quarterbacks in its 2018 recruiting class, landing the second Wednesday as four-star Coeur d'Alene (Idaho) quarterback Colson Yankoff committed to UW, Yankoff confirmed with Rivals shortly after the news broke.
UW already holds a commitment from four-star QB Jacob Sirmon, ranked No. 67 overall in the class per Rivals rankings, with his cousin Jackson Sirmon also committed in 2018.
Yankoff, a 6'4, 195-pound signal caller was previously committed to Oregon before Mark Helfrich was fired and replaced with Willie Taggart. Several other national programs including Notre Dame were high on the four-star prospects list before he made things official on Wednesday.
With the Huskies holding two commitments, Sirmon made it clear he is going no where: "I will compete no matter where I go."
