past three weeks (see
game by game stats) is a little banged up going into this week's showdown in
Berkeley against the Cal Bears.
James, who was seen limping around a little
following last Saturday's game in Tucson against the Arizona Wildcats,
apparently suffered a pulled quad muscle in his leg, according to Husky Coach,
Keith Gilbertson.
"He went into the game with a sprained ankle",
Gilbertson said, "In the first half he injured his quadricep and then at
halftime the trainers looked at him. I thought he really slowed down in the
second half because of the injury."
James was held out from Tuesday's practice.
