Washington added to its growing 2025 class on Thursday as in-state offensive lineman Lowen Colman-Brusa announced his commitment to the Huskies. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound tackle prospect is the fifth in-state recruit to give UW his pledge in the cycle.
Jedd Fisch's program now sits at No. 17 in the Rivals team recruiting rankings after a commitment explosion during the last month. Colman-Brusa's pledge gives the Huskies 20 commitments overall in the class.
The offensive lineman from Kennedy Catholic in Burien has taken several visits to UW during his recruitment, but his offer from the current staff came through just a month ago.
It took some time for the new UW commit to get on the radar for programs, but he has been on the rise this offseason with offers from Duke, Montana and Portland State in addition to Washington.
He took several recruiting trips throughout the process but the most important visit came June 6 when he paid a visit to UW and picked up his offer from offensive line coach and coordinator Brennan Carroll.
The new UW commit is the older brother of 2026 edge rusher Derek Colman-Brusa, who is already emerging as one of the top recruits in the West with offers from Oregon, Ohio State, USC and others.
The Colman-Brusa brothers have taken multiple visits to UW in recent months.
The 2025 recruit is now the third offensive lineman to join the Huskies for 2025 alongside four-star prospect Champ Taulealea and fellow Californian Jake Flores.
