Washington got a leg up against their in-state rivals by landing a three-star defensive end Thursday evening, beating out Washington State and others for his commitment.

The Huskies landed three-star Puyallup (Wash.) Emerald Ridge DE Mosiah Nasili-Liu, a former Utah commit who decommitted after receiving his offer from UW last week.

The Huskies will host the newly minted commit this weekend, with his original plan being to announce his decision on Sunday at the conclusion of his visit. However, having already visited UW in the beginning of November, and visiting WSU for his final official visit last weekend during the teams bye week.
