QB Jones wants more UW interest

Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde quarterback Sheriron Jones tells UDUBNation.com that he's hoping the Huskies start coming after him harder.
There are lots of reasons for that.

For starters, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback thinks Washington could be a great fit for him on a number of levels. He's also heard plenty about the school from a good friend that knows what he's talking about.
"Usually the recruiter for over here on the west coast is Peter Sirmon but I've also talked to the quarterbacks coach," Jones explained. "I'm not even sure of where I stand on their board but hopefully I'm up there and they're looking forward to recruiting me. I've talked to them.
"I like them a lot. I like everything they do. I just think as the years go by they're going to progress more. They're getting very good at what they're doing. I've got a lot of interest in them.
"One of my top receivers is going there - Demorea Stringfellow. He just went there. He was kinda like a mentor to me. It would be good to have somebody I know going up there," he said.
If Washington shows interest it's safe to say they would be high on his list.
But Jones already has some good options with early offers from Akron, Arizona and Arizona State.
This summer he visited USC and UCLA to try and generate some interest from those schools. He was supposed to visit Arizona State with his grandfather but that trip fell through.
