The dominoes were bound to start tumbling in the wake of coach Kalen DeBoer's departure from Washington as he officially took the Alabama job on Friday.
And one of the first dominoes to fall was quarterback Will Rogers reentering the transfer portal after just transferring into Washington last month from Mississippi State.
Rogers, who has passed for 12,315 yards, 94 touchdowns and 28 interceptions the last four years with the Bulldogs, was to take the reins of the Huskies' pass-heavy offense from Michael Penix Jr.
With DeBoer gone and the future of offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb uncertain, Rogers isn't wasting his time looking elsewhere.
Vanderbilt LB transfer Ethan Barr, who also just made the move to UW, is also heading back into the portal.
Meanwhile, standout cornerback Jabbar Muhammad also promptly entered the portal, as did fellow cornerback Mishael Powell and reserve quarterback William Haskell.
Muhammad and Powell combined for 84 tackles, 7 tackles for loss and 6 interceptions this season.
UW also lost a commitment from 2025 in-state linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale, who just gave the program his pledge Monday.
Four-star defensive end Keona Wilhite announced his decommitment from the 2024 class Sunday.
Three-star 2025 quarterback Jackson Kollock decommitted from the Huskies on Monday.
