There was no such thing as too late in Washington's pursuit of three-star cornerback Ramonz Adams. The 6-foot-1 prospect from Bastrop, Texas was previously committed to Texas Tech, but he backed off that pledge around the same time the Huskies entered the picture with an offer just a little over two weeks ago.

He proceeded to take an official visit to UW the following weekend, and Tuesday he announced his commitment to the Huskies.

Adams, who also took official visits to Arizona and Boston College, in addition to Texas Tech, is the 19th commitment for UW in the first recruiting cycle under Jedd Fisch. The Huskies now sit at No. 17 in the Rivals team recruiting rankings for 2025 with several other top targets still considering UW.

The addition of Adams moves Washington ahead of USC for sixth in the Big Ten rankings for 2025.

In all, 14 of the 19 commitments in the class have come in over the last three weeks as Fisch and his staff have built serious momentum on the recruiting trail.

Adams is the second cornerback commitment for UW in the class to go along with in-state recruit D'Aryhian Clemons, who joined the class last week.

He is the first commitment from Texas in Washington's 2025 class, and the Huskies now hold commitments from recruits from nine different states.
