Tight End Competition Heating Up

Dash Crutchley hasn't been talked about very much since his arrival at
Washington a little over a year ago. His moves between linebacker and tight end
have shown coaches, however, just how much he can contribute.
This weekend, the competition at tight end has
heated up, and Crutchley is back in the mix at this spot.
With the absence of both
Joe Toledo and
Ben Bandel, Coach Gilbertson looks to start JC transfer
Jon Lyon, but who will back up Lyon?
Look for some fierce competition between
sophomore
Andy Heater and redshirt freshman
Jason Benn, add Crutchley to the mix, and you can see why Washington is
called "Tight End U."
Even with injuries, there's never any lack of
talent at this spot.
