For the first time under the Chris Petersen era two four-star offensive line prospects have chosen Washington in the same recruiting class.
Less than one month after Roger Rosengarten, a 6-foot-7, 275-pound tackle from Colorado, made his verbal commitment to UW, a third lineman has pledged his name to the Huskies 2020 class.
Myles Murao, a 6-foot-3, 265-pound center for Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, announced his decision Thursday afternoon via Twitter. Listed as the No. 1 ranked C prospect by Rivals in 2020, Murao joins Rosengarten and three-star tackle Gaard Memmelaar in the class.
The Huskies moved up from No. 41 to No. 31 on Rivals team rankings with the addition of Muaro, who is the tenth public commit in 2020.
UW is expected to take at least one more OL recruit in this cycle with four-star Ferndale (Wash.) offensive guard Geirean Hatchett viewed as the final piece.
Since Rosengarten made his decision on June 14 four more commitments have come in. All but one, three-star inside linebacker Carson Burener, have been on offense.
Four-star Fresno (Calif.) San Joaquin Memorial wide receiver Jalen McMillan and three-star La Habra (Calif.) tight end Mason West have added their names to the Huskies 2020 class.
